Judge not Lest You Be Judged
When some Men in Black robes become Judge, Jury, and Executioner your rights and freedoms are next on the chopping block.
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you (Matthew 7:1-2).”
Our entire justice system is hanging in the balance. Many of our courts are failing right before our eyes. With them, our society will crumble.
I began this article before the events of July 12 when Donald Trump avoided an assassin’s bullet by centimeters and the madness since. Yet, the threat of a legal assassination still looms — even as the Trump-Vance ticket is gaining steam. After the RNC Convention and Biden’s removal from the election by his Democrat Party handlers, certain liberal courts will need to eventually be dealt with by legal rulings that restore the rule of law. It would be nice to resolve this before the election, but we will probably need to wait until after it to clean up their mess. Do not forget what almost happened in our courts.
Until recently, the summer and campaign were relatively calm and predictable. Now the world is upside down. And, we hope that the legal threats that Trump faced are slowly being resolved and untangled. They still had their intended effect, blunting his attack to some degree. He was distracted simply because of the expense and time wasted, and in fact, his personal security detail may have been reduced because of the depletion of his funds in his legal defense. This is one effect of lawfare — it diverts funds from their primary purpose and creates a fear of bankruptcy.
When it comes to our courts, a judge’s position is based on respect. It is funny that many pastors no longer wear vestments, but priests and judges maintain their black-robed prestige. At least our judges do not wear ridiculous wigs as they do in England… raise a glass to progress. However, the regressive legal system in America is falling apart. And many judges like Juan Merchan, the acting Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, are willing to do whatever they can to take down Trump in the case New York v. Trump.
Regardless of their dress, way too many judges have beclowned themselves with overtly political rulings. And, the media accuses originalists and textualists in the Supreme Court of legislating from the bench when they are actively attempting to maintain the legitimacy of the judicial branch and hold onto our Constitution. It is always a matter of projection with the statists.
Recent Supreme Court rulings give us hope. But, depending on these judges in this court to defend the Constitution seems to be a losing battle. That is not to say we should neglect to celebrate our wins, hard-won and long-lasting. Once again, the Trump legacy continues marching forward. But these are temporary at best. And no legal victory is enough without the political will to enact its benefits.
In Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, Relentless and Inc. v. Department of Commerce, by another 6-3 vote SCOTUS overruled the 1984 decision in Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council. Rejecting the twisted logic of this prior ruling is healthy for our nation and unravels a major cable in the deep state arsenal — if we are strong enough to pull on it. Before, when Congress had not directly addressed a dispute dealing with administrative agencies (and they seldom do) any court was required to uphold the agency’s reasonable interpretation of the statute. This so-called Chevron doctrine led to all forms of legal heresy with federal agencies running amok, destroying lives, seizing property, planting evidence to their advantage, and claiming it was all reasonable.
Constitutional rulings have occurred under the Roberts named Trump appointed court, notably the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization which overturned Row v. Wade and pushed the issue of abortion back to the state where it belongs. For now, there is no room for national legislation to ban murder in the womb. It will take a new Civil Rights Act to upend years of damage caused by the national disgrace of the combination of degenerate laws and a morally bankrupt court. This approach would wrap a series of issues together into a federal ban on abortion, transgender mutilation, sanctuary cities, and the woke mind virus to name four issues where liberal states and government agencies are unethically corrupted. But it requires a Trump presidency and a strong conservative Republican majority in both the House and Senate — like shooting the moon.
Instead, these few wins have become a backstop against the rising tide of anti-constitutional actions within the government and judicial system. It appears that at this stage Fabian socialists and Marxist atheists will flood the zone with bad case law and simply push the nation past its breaking point.
Two weeks ago, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump because the special counsel Jack Smith was unconstitutionally appointed. This was a major win for the Trump team and began to unravel a series of actions taken by a rogue Department of Justice under Merrick Garland acting on behalf of the shadow government in charge of the puppet president Joe Biden.
Fulton County Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis’ egregious case against former President Donald Trump fell apart when her affair with a state special prosecutor Nathan Wade was exposed. She hired Wade, misused state funds, and compromised the integrity of the case. Yet she remains in office because Atlanta’s political machine will not protect the Georgia court system from this level of corruption. She is likely just a small sample of the dishonest, dishonorable, and unscrupulous Democrat part in Cobb County. Now a Georgia Appeals Court will hear arguments in December, after the election, as Trump’s attorneys seek to disqualify Fani Willis and have her case finally tossed. But, it has been pushed to a mostly irrelevant status.
Liberals have taken the term activist judges to new heights, and as a result, they have dragged our laws through the mud. At lower levels, municipal, city, county, and state courts are interjecting themselves into our national political process by trying to derail Donald Trump’s campaign for president and the election this November 5, 2024.
We have no king but Jesus, and Donald Trump is just a man. But he is clearly God’s man for the moment — as events in Butler, PA have shown. It is by God’s grace that he dodged a bullet intended for his head. It is ironic, isn’t it that the year the election falls on November, 5? Remember V for Vendetta:
Remember, remember, the 5th of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason
Why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, 'twas his intent
To blow up the King and the Parliament
Three score barrels of powder below
Poor old England to overthrow
By God's providence he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match
Holler boys, holler boys, let the bells ring
Holler boys, holler boys
God save the King!
In Trump v. United States, the SCOTUS ruled 6-3 that Donald Trump and by extension, all former presidents have limited criminal immunity for official acts. That means that if the president is to be tried for violation of the Constitution while in office and for official acts he must be impeached. This does put a time crunch on the prosecution of any crimes but the Democrats have demonstrated the ability to impeach on a whim. Who is to say that initiating impeachment might not last beyond a President’s last day in office — if only to remove from him or her the rights and privileges of the office in emeritus? Therefore, the Supreme Court maintained the proper balance of power and restrictions on illegal and unofficial acts while in office. But, Trump can never be prosecuted for actions that call upon his core powers as President (see: Constitution). After these recent Supreme Court Decisions, Judge Merchan must throw out Trump’s convictions and prosecutors asked the jury to find Trump guilty based on his official acts. But he will never do this.
Now that we have lost law and order, the general first-order foundation of civilization, we will lose the rest of the benefits of the United States of America.
Every nation rests on the bedrock of certain assumptions about reality, what you may call religion, morality, and a worldview. Upon this cornerstone laws are built and then courts must adjudicate disputes. Judges have pissed on our courts, and the Democrats with the media have shredded our laws by promoting lawlessness. The Constitution is meaningless when violations of it go unchallenged.
A people who once had a social compact holding us together have rejected these common bonds and ignored the Constitution. Instead, we have Balkanized and polarized into factions and tribes. Each group makes its claim on others — while some attempt to abstain and avoid conflict by simply inviting others to take advantage of them.
We now have a legal system that is based on vengeance. Christians must judge wisely discern the falsehood and lies of the enemy and seek justice, not revenge. We should appreciate the fact that Jesus shed blood covers and forgives us so that we can help others. Our courts have been blinded by hatred and political power. They are not able to see reality. Instead, they reject the notion of hypocrisy because they do not have standards to uphold. You can not be a hypocrite if you celebrate wickedness. Sitting in a position of authority requires responsible use of that power. So liberal judges must uphold the law or be removed from office, “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye (Matthew 7:3-5).”
Our courts are filled with plank-eyed judges gouging at the eyes of their enemies. This is not the basis of a sound legal system, and it must end through a reformation of our culture, nation, and judiciary. The reckoning is coming.
